Our project proposal for SouthTown with its robust sustainability and affordability components, considered by many in our community to be a slam dunk for approval, hit a surprising road block. Many of the issues faced by the project are not unique and the podcast unpacks many of our systems and messaging from a city policy level that inhibit progressive design from moving forward.
